Battery powered synthesizers

— the ability to power the synthesizer from batteries — usually AA ("finger-type"), less often D (similar in shape, but larger and thicker).

This function allows you to use the tool without plugging into a power outlet — just "charge" it with fresh batteries. The operating time, of course, turns out to be limited, but most models are quite capable of working for at least 20 to 40 minutes, and often longer. And children's synthesizers (see "Type") in general can provide power only from batteries, without the possibility of connecting to the network.
