Auto ignition

— the presence of auto ignition in the oven.

This function is relevant only for ovens with gas heaters (see "Oven"). Auto ignition creates an electric spark that ignites the gas — thanks to this, it is possible to ignite the heater without external sources of fire. Note that such systems can be arranged in different ways. So, in some models, auto ignition works immediately when the knob is turned. In others, a spark is generated by pressing a separate button. However, this feature provides additional convenience, but it usually requires a network connection to work. Although, in extreme cases, you can ignite the oven with auto ignition in the usual way, using matches or a lighter.
