Pearl

— natural pearls are a precious stone of organic origin, produced by some types of mollusks: when a grain of sand enters the shell, it is enveloped in layers of mother-of-pearl, forming a pearl of a round or close to round shape. Initially, this stone was very rare and highly valued, but nowadays, natural pearls are produced industrially. In addition, an artificial variety is also produced — it is noticeably cheaper, and in appearance it may practically not differ.

The classic colours of pearls are white and pinkish, but in fact, the colour can be almost anything.
