Amber

— semi-precious (precious ornamental) stone of the first order (the most expensive in its category). Natural amber is of organic origin: it is a fossil tree resin, hardened from a long (hundreds or even thousands of years) stay underground. Theoretically, the colour of such a stone can be almost anything, however, one or another shade of yellow or orange is considered a “classic of the genre”, it is in this form that amber is most often found in jewelry. It looks good and at the same time is relatively affordable and inexpensive due to its prevalence in the world and ease of processing. In addition, in amber there are so-called inclusions — twigs, leaves, insects, etc. "sealed" in hardened resin. In some cases, amber with an inclusion may already be classified as a precious stone. At the same time, note that over time, this material tends to oxidize, fade and lose its properties.
