— natural emerald is one of the most expensive gemstones (belongs to stones of the first order, along with diamond and ruby). It has a characteristic green colour. Artificial emeralds are also produced — they usually have a bluish tint and a lower refractive index (they do not give such beautiful glare and reflections as natural stone). However, some artificial stones at first glance can be almost indistinguishable from ordinary ones. And here it is worth focus on the price of the product: emeralds of natural origin are not cheap.
