— natural agate refers to semi-precious stones and is a specific variety of quartz (more precisely, chalcedony). Often this mineral has a “layered” appearance in the section, with alternating coloured and light layers. However, relatively small stones are used in the rings, in which the layering would be invisible — as a result, jewelers try to make such an insert monotonous. The colour of agate can be almost anything — blue, red, black, light. Note that such stones are found in rather expensive rings, but this is due not so much to the cost of the material itself, but to the cost of the work invested in it — agates are often given an unusual shape.
