Amber rings
Amber
— natural amber is a mineral of organic origin — the petrified resin of coniferous trees, which has lain in the ground or under water for a long time. In general, this stone is considered semi-precious, but there are exceptions: inclusions can be found in amber (leaves, twigs, and even insects that have fallen into the resin and “preserved” in it), and stones with large inclusions cost up to precious ones. However, relatively simple varieties of amber are used in most jewelry. The standard colour for this stone is considered to be yellow or orange, although theoretically any shade can be. When buying jewelry with amber, it is worth considering that this stone oxidizes over time and loses its original colour. However, this takes a lot of time — at least several years.
