A fully symmetrical and versatile mouse with a high-quality, high-resolution optical sensor and a reliable wired connection. It features a well-optimized symmetrical design, so it fits equally well in both right and left hands. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the basic price category, designed for the widest range of tasks. It will help you quickly and efficiently perform any office work (tables, texts, presentations, web content), creates comfortable conditions for long-term web surfing.
It is quite suitable for amateur use in games of popular genres (RPG, RTS, FPS, MOBA). The Logitech B100 universal mouse is equipped with a high-quality optical sensor with a resolution of 800 dpi, which significantly exceeds the accuracy of sensors of inexpensive previous generation manipulators (600 dpi). Thanks to this equipment, as well as a significant polling rate of the USB port, it provides confident and correct cursor positioning in professional applications. A flexible 1.8 metre double PVC insulated USB cable is enough to connect to a personal computer, workstation, laptop or all-in-one. The mouse does not require any drivers to be installed and is ready to use immediately after the physical connection.

A fairly inexpensive, simple and at the same time reliable mouse. A reliable and time-tested series of mice. The previous one (M90) served for more than 5-6 years. Slippery plastic. Loud scrolling sound. |
My work mouse has been with me for over two years. At home, I've mainly used gaming mice, which I chose based on hand size, and those are actually a bit larger than this one. Nevertheless, it fits perfectly in my hand and doesn't cause any discomfort or fatigue by the end of the workday. It has four feet that glide well on any mat, or even without one. However, on the desk, while it moves smoothly, it is a bit noisier. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the mouse and I'm sure it will last for more years to come. Ergonomic shape, no play in keys and wheel, affordable price, Logitech quality. Dirt periodically sticks in the gaps on the sides of the body. |
I have only encountered such a ratchet in a wheel on Logitech. Apparently, this wheel mechanism is reliable, but I don't plan to use it. There's an unpleasant feedback from the wheel to the finger when scrolling. I disassembled it. I temporarily pressed the spring that rests against the wheel teeth on the inside so that the feedback and clicking sound are significantly less than originally. This satisfied me for now. I might also remove the weight from the mouse, as I'm used to lighter ones. The colors are dark gray + black? For some reason, other manufacturers manage to make a regular wired mouse with a quiet wheel (even if it's not as durable) and a radically black body without silly inserts of other colors. Only Logitech's B170 looks normal - it's completely black (apparently they missed it, and soon they might stick something foreign on it too). I'll be looking for a different mouse from another company. Logitech doesn't have a decent non-irritating and comfortable mouse in principle. More expensive models have unnecessary obstructive wart-like buttons all over the body, cheaper ones have a ratchet in the wheel, and the wireless ones have lags (this is common for this category of mice from all companies). Comfortable. Perfect shape. Does not smell. Looks high quality. The wheel is unpleasant, it rattles terribly. Very questionable color selection. |
