Compact and lightweight cordless reciprocating saw designed for installation or plumbing work. This tool can saw wood up to 50 mm thick and cut steel pipes of the same diameter. The blade moves with a 13 mm stroke. The stroke rate (up to 3000 strokes/min at maximum speed) is proportional to the pressure on the trigger. Two separate trigger buttons allow you to hold the Makita DJR183Z reciprocating saw in different ways during operation.

Thanks to the tool-less quick-release mechanisms for securing the blade and the shoe, changing accessories and setting the position of the support platform are easy and fast, without using additional tools. The built-in LED light allows you to work safely in poorly lit areas. Two saw blades included. The saw requires a Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion battery (in this configuration the tool is supplied without AKB and charger).
