A professional grade miter saw designed for precise cuts (cross, longitudinal or bevel) of wood, plastic or soft metal workpieces. The tool is equipped with a 1650 W motor, providing a disk rotation speed of up to 4600 rpm and its quick stop using the brake. The saw equipment uses toothed disks with an outer diameter of 260 mm and a mounting hole of 30 mm. The head of the Makita LS1040N miter saw tilts to the left at an angle of up to 45 °, and the table can rotate 45 ° to the left and 52 ° in the opposite direction.

Extenders (included) can be attached to the table for working with long workpieces. When sawing at an angle of 90°, this tool can saw workpieces with a cross-section of up to 93x95 mm in one motion, at an angle of 45° - up to 53x95 mm, at an angle of 45°x45° - up to 49x67 mm. To collect sawdust, the kit includes a dust bag, which can be replaced with a vacuum cleaner pipe (the outlet pipe has dimensions of 32/37 mm).
