The DMC300Z model is supplied without battery and charger.

A compact cordless circular saw for plumbers, installers, auto body repair specialists, and other pros who need a tool for cutting thin tubing, sheet metal, or ceramic tile. The spindle accepts 76 mm discs (10 mm arbor). Maximum cutting depth is 14 mm (or 16 mm with the guard removed). The Makita DMC300Z circular saw features a brushless motor with constant speed control under load and an electric brake for a quick stop after switch-off. The set includes three diamond and cut-off discs (for metal, PVC, and ceramic tile), a hex wrench for securing accessories on the spindle, and a dust extraction shroud. Battery and charger are not included. The tool is powered by any Makita 18V LXT Li-ion battery.
