A compact micro-ATX motherboard with 4 DDR4 RAM slots, support for high-speed PCI-E 4.0 class SSDs and fairly efficient memory subsystem for the budget segment. The board is equipped with an AMD AM4 processor socket, operates under the mid-range B450 chipset, and is designed for AMD Ryzen 3000/4000/4000G/5000/5000G series processors. It is part of the versatile ASRock Pro product line, which emphasizes stable and long-term use in office systems, home multimedia PCs, and entry-level gaming builds that do not require extraordinary performance.

The ASRock B450M Pro adheres to the brand’s Super Alloy concept, involving the use of quality chokes and solid-state thermal capacitors (note: unfortunately not Japanese), and the PCB is made with dense copper conductors and a six-layer textolite, enhancing signal stability and lowering component operating temperatures. Apart from its affordable price, it features compact dimensions and a thoughtful layout, minimizing installation issues.

The motherboard includes 4 DDR4-3200 RAM slots with XMP profile support (maximum 128 GB capacity), two M.2 slots (1xSATA, 1xPCI-E 4x), and four traditional SATA3 connectors for installing classic HDD and SSD drives. The graphics card slot supports third-generation PCI-E. Despite its office nature, the board features connectors for LED strips supporting Polychrome Sync and several free spaces for mounting water pumps. By using a discrete graphics card, a monitor can be connected directly to the board via VGA, DVI, or HDMI ports.
