A model designed for gaming with a Fast IPS panel, stretching diagonally to 24.5 inches. The monitor screen displays images at a maximum Full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) and features a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz and a response time of 1 ms (using the GtG methodology). Screen tearing and frame drops are reduced with the help of AMD FreeSync adaptive sync technology (alongside support for VESA Adaptive-Sync).
Gaming tools available to the user include a crosshair overlay, a timer, an fps counter, and a Shadow Boost function for brightening dark scenes. The maximum brightness of the monitor's matrix backlight is around 400 cd/m². In terms of color accuracy, the Asus ROG Strix XG259CS screen covers 110% of the sRGB “triangle”. For monitor connections, interfaces include DisplayPort v 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
The model is equipped with a stand that allows adjustments to the display’s tilt, rotation, and height. Additionally, mounting holes for a VESA-compatible wall bracket 100x100 mm are provided on the rear panel. This gaming monitor stands out with its Fast IPS display, high refresh rate of up to 180 Hz, and quick 1ms response time, offering smooth gaming experiences. The incorporation of AMD FreeSync and Shadow Boost enhances gameplay quality, while the extensive color coverage and multiple connectivity options make it versatile for users.
