A fast-paced 23.8" gaming monitor for demanding gamers and aspiring esports players. Equipped with a Full HD resolution thin bezel screen, provides a high refresh rate (165 Hz), supports AMD FreeSync synchronization technology. The design of the Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q1R monitor is based on an eight-bit IPS type matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 and white LED backlighting (W-LED) without high-frequency flicker (Flicker-Free).
Excellent viewing angles, accurate colour reproduction (100% sRGB) and fast 4ms GtG response time are guaranteed. Impressive frame rate (165Hz) and support for sync technology allow this model to create the smoothest and clearest images in scenes with fast movement. Such a monitor will be the best choice for fast-paced games such as first-person shooters, fighting games, simulations and real-time strategy games. These genres require the user to quickly respond to the current game situation, so instant frame change and low response time will provide a tangible advantage over online rivals. Thanks to the proprietary Shadow Boost function, image detail in deep shadows is improved. It connects to a PC, laptop or game console via a digital HDMI 1.4 or Display Port 1.2 interface.

Great monitor for its price; didn't have to think too long because there aren't many competitors at this price. The 165 Hz performs excellently, and the colors, compared to my old TN panel, are significantly better. If a functional stand is important to you, you might want to check out its younger model, the VG249Q, but it has 144 Hz. 165 Hz Thin bezels Stand Slightly wobbles when touched near the screen |
It so happened that I went to the store to get it in person, to check out the pixels, but something was broken at Citilink and they couldn’t provide that service, so I had to buy it blind. ASUS didn't let me down; I found no dead pixels or backlight bleed. Since my previous monitor was also an ASUS of the VG series, the limited stand is actually a plus (I don't have to get used to a new height, etc.) So, to sum it up: If you need a cheap 144Hz+ and Full HD monitor and couldn't care less about a functional stand (it's not bad, just not functional), this monitor is your choice. -165 Hz -assembly -simple monitor setup -price -leg (it's not bad, just not functional). |
Used for less than two weeks. Immediately, some backlight issues appeared in the matrix. It's a pity there is no USB. The 1st HDMI port was faulty. With a slight tap on the table or even typing on the keyboard, the monitor would start shaking. 165hz is probably only available with DisplayPort. Can something be placed on the round leg 165Hz Light up Very yellow matrix When touching the table, the monitor began to shake |
