The Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM is able to effectively separate the subject from the background in the frame and provide a pleasant background blur. The aperture of the model is 7-bladed, the internal design of the lens has 14 elements in 8 groups. The fix also got hold of a built-in STM autofocus stepping motor for smooth and, importantly, silent focus (it will be appreciated by videographers).

From the controls on the body of the model, a focus distance switch and a wide focus ring with the possibility of manual focus are provided. The lens can clearly see the object in the frame from a distance of 23 cm.
