Wide-angle zoom lens with an eye for creative types of shooting for enthusiasts and professionals. The habitat of the model is full-frame “carcasses” of Canon EOS SLR cameras. It will also fit in with DSLRs with an APS-C image sensor (if you close your eyes to the cost of the model). The lens is notable for its constant high aperture of f/2.8 throughout the entire zoom range. The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM provides high sharpness across the entire field of the frame from an open aperture, has good protection against flare and ghosting.

The immunity of the model to glare is explained by the use of an improved Air Sphere Coating and Subwavelength Structure Coating. In addition, the front and rear elements have a grease-repellent coating. The zoom lens is equipped with a USM ultrasonic autofocus motor, has a 9-bladed aperture with a rounded hole, is made in a dust- and moisture-resistant housing with dimensions of 89x128 mm and weighs about 790 g.
