A balanced mirrorless camera of the Canon EOS R system, one of the first models in the family with a cropped APS-C image sensor. The camera sensor has a resolution of 24.2 MP, the native range of its light sensitivity is measured in the range from 100 to 32,000 ISO units. By software methods, the ISO value can be increased to 51,200 units. The mirrorless autofocus system uses Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology with frame tracking and -4EV sensitivity.
In total, the camera relies on 651 focus points. Note that the model does not have optical stabilization based on sensor shift. The rate of fire of the camera when shooting with a mechanical shutter is 15 fps, with an electronic shutter - 23 fps. Video on the Canon EOS R10 kit is shot from the entire width of the sensor in a maximum resolution of 4K at 30 fps. 10-bit color and HDR PQ are available to the operator when shooting video. At first, the Canon EOS R family of mirrorless cameras consisted entirely of full-frame models, and the Japanese brand's cropped cameras were defined in the Canon EOS M line.
