Cordless drill-driver with three operating modes: screwing, drilling, and percussion drilling. The device is equipped with a brushless motor (with brake and electronic overload protection system), which makes the DeWALT DCD805NT drill-driver powerful and efficiently uses battery charge. The metal gearbox has two gears: for tightening fasteners and for drilling. At the first speed (650 RPM), when working with screws of different sizes, the user can adjust the tightening torque (up to 90 Nm) using the 15-step rotary clutch.
Using the tool at the second speed (2000 RPM), holes can be made in wooden (up to ⌀55 mm) and metal workpieces (up to ⌀13 mm). When using the percussion mode, lightweight concrete (up to ⌀13 mm) or brickwork can also be drilled. The tool has built-in lighting for working in low-light conditions. In this configuration, the drill-driver comes with a case, but without a battery and charger. A DeWALT 18V XR lithium-ion battery is required to power the tool.
