Compact impact drill with medium power. It has a small size, moderate weight (1.82 kg) and a comfortable ergonomic pistol grip. Be careful when purchasing this drill. Some links from this site point to the DWD024 model rather than the DWD024S. The difference in these two models is that the S version has a quick-release chuck, while the 024 has a regular key chuck. I bought myself one in the store strument.ua - 024. In this store, the picture and description are deceptive - it is indicated that the drill is with a quick-release chuck, but in fact the chuck upon delivery turned out to be ordinary. We moved in with my wife and children to a new apartment. Well, like new, in fact, the house is almost twelve years old, but anyway, after a one-room panel Czech built in 1972, this housing is already a mansion for us. The apartment is not bad and there are cosmetic repairs. In short, the state of a solid four. However, you still need to adapt the apartment for yourself, and without a normal power tool this is hardly realistic. So I took this tool. A little pricey for a simple impact drill, but I expect to use it for more than one year. In short, this is a compact and quite powerful tool. Still, 650 W for such dimensions and weight (1.8 kg) is a very decent power. It drills perfectly, the chuck is well balanced and, with due care, you can get holes of exactly the size that you intended. In terms of ergonomics, everything is top notch, and the main and secondary handles are comfortable, the keyless chuck does its job perfectly. In impact mode, drills concrete and other hard materials confidently and cheerfully. It’s not even worth talking about wood and plastic, it goes through butter like a knife. The electronic chuck speed control works as it should. The depth gauge also came in handy. The assembly is Chinese, but there are no complaints. Along with the drill received a warranty for a year. For the price, a one-year warranty is not enough. I was a little confused by the standard service life indicated in the attached manual - 5 years. I hope that this applies to professional use and at home it will last much longer. |
