The flagship of the X-series of the 2018 model is strong in photo and video shooting in all respects. This is the largest camera in the Fuji family (not counting the medium format GFX 50S), aimed at photography pros, enthusiasts and advanced amateurs. The all-protective magnesium alloy body of the mirrorless hides a 24 MP APS-C format X-Trans CMOS III sensor with a built-in 5-axis stub in the bowels. The effectiveness of the image stabilization system is evaluated by the ability to compensate for 5.5 stops of exposure when shooting handheld or in low light conditions. The reporter qualities of the Fuji X-H1 body are confirmed by the high rate of fire: 8 fps when using a mechanical shutter and 14 fps with an electronic shutter. The autofocus of the model is hybrid. It combines 156 contrast...points and 169 phase sensors placed directly on the matrix. The tilting touch screen and an additional information screen on the top add to the ease of handling the camera. The remarkable photographic potential is complemented by wide opportunities in video shooting: the camera records videos in format up to DCI 4K (4096x2160 pixels, 24 fps), moreover, the F-Log profile and the Eterna preset are available to the operator to give the picture a cinematic look. The footage is recorded on SD flash drives, for which two “seats” are provided on board.
