The equipment is worth the money, the stub is amazing!

I’ve been using it for a year now, the technology is cool, in terms of stabilization and working ISO 3200 (further granular), the clarity is amazing, the output for headphones and other external devices is convenient, the price is 100 for it, take it and you won’t regret it, + stitbuster or just fork out the cash for your own optics.
Stub, stub, stub!!! and a wide range of settings.
The internal microphone is so-so... crop 2 (the position of the metabonus slightly adjusts) perhaps all the disadvantages

such a wonderful model but no reviews, just comments in the "Discussion" section. Has anyone even bought it in Ukraine? I would like to know, for example, how the autofocus works for video, since it is designed for that. Is it similar to the Sony 6000 series or like the Panasonic G7 - completely manual? What's the quality of the 4K recording and the continuous recording time without overheating, etc.?

wonderful model, really honored

The camera is definitely worth its money. I've been using it for about 2 years, and globally there are no drawbacks, the picture is very nice, especially if you shoot in vLOG or HLG. It records up to 4k in normal mode, and can even record 6k in open gate which is really cool. It has really high-quality matrix stabilization. The camera does not overheat, which was important to me. In general, if you set up the lighting correctly and adjust the camera properly, you can achieve a Hollywood-like picture. Despite its age, the camera is still very relevant.

Unfortunately, vLOG does not come included, it needs to be purchased separately, and it is not exactly cheap for such an addition, but there is HLG which works quite well in principle.

The "chip" of most Panasonic mirrorless cameras is advanced video capabilities. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH5 camera has the greatest potential in video recording.

4K video

The camera acquired a 20-megapixel matrix and a fast image processor, thanks to which it became possible to record video from the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe matrix (for the camera's predecessor, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4), 4K videos were recorded with a small crop). In UltraHD resolution (3840x2160 pixels), shooting with a frame rate of up to 60 fps is available. And if you lower the frame rate to 30 fps, then the operator will be able to record video in 10-bit colour with colour subsampling 4:2:2. In fact, this allows you to do the deepest possible colour correction of the footage during its post-processing (if you have the appropriate software). In the more familiar FullHD format for the masses, shooting is carried out with a frame rate of up to 180 fps.

Stabilization

In the vast majority of cases, photo and video shooting can be done hand-held — the 5-axis matrix stabilization system effectively compensates for camera shake and hand shake of the operator. If you get stabilized optics, then it becomes possible to win more than 5 stops of exposure.

Pseudo SLR

Externally, the camera began to look more like a DSLR than more compact system cameras. However, in the presence of dust and water protection, as well as frost resistance of the case, a dual slot for memory cards, many programmable keys and outputs for connecting third-party devices, a rotary touch screen and a detailed electronic viewfinder with an impressive resolution of 1280x960 pixels, the dimensions of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH5 cease to seem large.

Decent result

The autofocus system of the camera has 225 contrast-type points that catch the subject in 0.05 s and do an excellent job in tracking mode. As far as high ISO performance is concerned, Micro 4/3 cameras have not yet learned to show outstanding results when increasing the ISO value above ISO 3200. Up to this figure, the amount of noise in the picture is at an acceptable level. A more affordable alternative to the "five" is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4, which, although it has lost its position with the release of the successor, still remains a very good acquisition for photo and video shooting.
