A mirrorless camera with a 25-megapixel Micro 4/3 format image sensor, designed for photo and video shooting. The matrix “under the hood” of the model is fixed on a movable stabilizing platform, and its native light sensitivity range covers the boundaries from 100 to 256 ISO units (or from 50 units in extended mode). Panasonic DC-G9 II body has a fast hybrid autofocus system of 779 points, an OLED electronic viewfinder, and a 3-inch rotating touch screen.

The footage is supposed to be saved to one of two SD UHS-II cards (in parallel or sequential modes). Video is recorded on the camera at a maximum frame resolution of 5952x3968 pixels at 30 fps, and 4K shooting is available with a frame rate of up to 120 fps. On a fully charged 2200 mAh battery, up to 390 shots are promised. The model is dust and moisture resistant, supports remote control from mobile devices, and has a “hot shoe” for installing an external flash or other photo accessories. The “body” version of the camera does not require a complete lens.
