A fresh iteration of the AORUS ELITE motherboard based on the flagship Z790 chipset introduced by Intel at the end of 2022. It belongs to the top level, is equipped with a powerful power supply system, is designed for complex case cooling, boasts a built-in Wi-Fi receiver. It is positioned as a product of the upper price category from the AORUS gaming sub-series, which Gigabyte created specifically for experienced gamers and overclocking fans.

Equipped with an LGA 1700 socket for 2/4/6/8/10-core Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron 12th and 13th generation processors from the Alder Lake and Raptor Lake lines. Thanks to the extremely powerful 19-phase power subsystem, it will be the best choice for building top-end premium gaming configurations with Core i9 class processors and GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards. The layout of the board fully complies with the full-size ATX standard and has 6 standard SATA3 connectors, 4 M.

2 slots with additional cooling and support for the PCI-E 4.0 interface and paired PCI-E slots that allow you to install 2 video cards operating in Crossfire mode in the system. For connecting RAM, there are 4 new generation DIMM slots, designed to mount up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory with a maximum frequency of 7600 MHz. The presence of auxiliary connectors allows you to connect several color tapes (2 RGB + 2 ARGB) to the Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE AX DDR5, as well as relatively freely place a water pump in the system.
