The hybrid of a smartphone and tablet from Google's 2024 model portfolio. The design of the model features two displays: an external smartphone display (6.3", OLED, 2424x1080 pixels, 120 Hz) and a foldable internal display (8", OLED LTPO, 2152x2076 pixels, 1 – 120 Hz). When folded, the thickness of the smartphone is 10.5 mm, and when unfolded, it is 5.1 mm. The slimmer body compared to the previous generation model houses a slightly reduced battery capacity of 4650 mAh.
It supports 27-watt wired charging and 21-watt wireless charging. The body of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold 256GB is reliably water-protected by the IPX8 standard. The smartphone operates on the proprietary Tensor G4 processor and boasts a whole arsenal of Google's proprietary AI functions. The Android 15 operating system is promised a 7-year update cycle. The device's base configuration includes 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of internal storage via UFS 4.0. The model comes with a triple main camera setup of 48 + 10.5 + 10.8 MP (main sensor, ultra-wide, 5x telephoto) and two 10 MP front cameras on each screen. Additionally, the smartphone has the capability to send SOS messages via satellite connectivity.
