Productive 10- or 14-core desktop processors from the 13th generation Intel Core family (Raptor Lake, 10 nm). Models of this line have an LGA 1700 socket and are designed for installation in motherboards with 6XX and 7XX series chipsets. The manufacturer positions them as mid-price models intended for use in entry-level multipurpose workstations, universal home systems, gaming PCs and affordable overclocker configurations.

As last time, the key feature of the Raptor Lake architecture is the division of all available cores into 2 groups: powerful P-cores and energy-efficient E-cores, as is common in mobile ARM processors. Specific cores are used depending on the current type of load: P is better suited for games and "heavy tasks", and E for background processes. Such architecture optimizes the overall performance level and reduces overall power consumption.

Depending on the specific modification, the Core i5 Rzptor Lake can include either 10 or 14 physical cores. In the first case, these are 6 P-class cores + 4 E cores. Performance cores are overclocked to 4.6 GHz and support multi-threaded data processing, due to which the total number of threads increases to 16 pieces. The L3 cache size is 20 MB, and the maximum TDP can reach 154 watts.

Higher-end Core i5 chips have 6 P cores + 8 E cores, as a result of which the total number of threads reaches 20. At the same time, their cache size has been increased to 24 MB, and the TDP has accordingly increased to 181 watts. It is worth noting that for optimal use of the hybrid architecture, a motherboard with Thread Director technology support is required, as well as a modern tower cooler. The processors support 16 lines of the PCI-E 5.0 system interface, which provides incredible data transfer speeds for video cards, top NVMe SSD drives, and network adapters. Another important feature is the ability to work with two types of RAM - DDR4-3200 or DDR5-5600. The maximum supported RAM capacity is 128 GB.
