I immediately thought about purchasing this processor when I watched another video on YouTube by BRIG man. He explained everything clearly, covering all the pros and cons. And most importantly, this "stone" is worth every ruble spent for its performance. I completely agree with him. It runs on auto mode for me and has overclocked itself to the recommended frequency of 4100 MHz.

Its frequencies and performance are enough for all my tasks. Previously, I was using an i5-2500K. For me, this step was huge and gave me an incredible advantage. In my build, it doesn't heat above 50 degrees, averaging 30-45 degrees.

Before that, there were all sorts of buckets of supposedly antediluvian radeon at 1.6GHz in a laptop, i3 6006u, i3 2120, the sky and the earth all flies, although recently it began to seem that it is not enough everywhere, although I set tasks for it that are not office
Even a boxed cooler is sufficient for cooling.
I got it in 2021 when it was the cheapest solution in conjunction with the N510 to have a fast processor, although now you can get a B450 + 5500/3600 for the same price.

The processor is quite decent, bought at a fairly good price, at the time of purchase AMD processors were more expensive. It was bought alongside a 1650 Super (a better graphics card for this processor can be paired up to the 2070). Cooled by a stock cooler, something better was not possible due to budget constraints, the temperature in the OCCT stress test and running FurMark simultaneously reached 81 degrees, there were no intake fans, only exhaust and the power supply unit was top-mounted. It consumed a maximum of 61W. In games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Metro Exodus, Need for Speed™ Heat, the temperature averaged 60-70 degrees, with a critical temperature of 100 degrees. FPS in games was +/- 60, with high settings, limited by the graphics card, RAM DDR4 2*8Gb 2666MHz. In Cinebench R15 scored 883 (Ryzen 5 2400G - 810, Ryzen 5 1600 - 1142, Ryzen 5 2600 - 1252). Over the past 2 years, the processor market has turned upside down. If you didn't really follow what was happening, then from now on AMD is responsible for technically sophisticated and powerful processors, and Intel is now in charge in the low-cost segment. And if we are talking about assembling an entry-level gaming computer, then one of the most interesting options for the role of the central processor will be far from the newest Core i3-10100F. It offers a sufficient level of performance at the level of the Core i7-7700 and at the same time pleases with a pleasant price in the region of 85 — 100 dollars. Usually, for that kind of money, Intel, at best, handed out office "stumps" with a couple of low-power cores.

8 virtual cores and auto overclocking up to 4.3 GHz

The main beauty of the Core i3-10100F is that it is the first processor of this series that can work in multi-threaded mode and supports turbo boost. Previous generations of Core i3 were like peasant children, who were saved for nothing, so they didn’t have a turbo boost or additional virtual cores. In the 10th generation, this of course changed, thanks to which the Core i3-10100F actually turned into an analogue of the younger Core i5 models that came out in the 8th and 9th generation of Intel Core processors.

What are eight threads capable of today with a maximum frequency of 4.3 GHz? Let's just say a lot. In fact, this is the same Core i7-7700 with a slightly reduced cache (6 MB versus 8 MB), which two years ago was called the flagship stone and the optimal processor for games. Even with a simple motherboard and inexpensive RAM running in dual-channel mode, this processor will be able to unleash the potential of an old lady of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti caliber taken from the hands or a GTX 3060 bought by great luck. The only negative is that the multiplier is locked in the Core i3-10100F, which means goodbye normal acceleration. On the other hand, is there an urgent need for this?
