Lenovo's 2023 Slim 5 16IRH8 family of laptops are 16-inch Legion gaming solutions. The latter combines models for gamers in the advanced and high-end price segments, which are aimed at demanding users. The distinctive design features of the representatives of the line include a rather small (for its diagonal) case thickness (22 mm) and a stylish design (aluminium and plastic case, laconic gray or silver colors, white keyboard backlight).
Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16IRH8 laptops are characterized by a wide variety of configurations. For example, junior solutions received a Full HD display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a standard brightness of 300 nits, an 8-core 12th generation Intel Core i5 Alder Lake processor, and 16 GB of RAM without the possibility of an upgrade. But the top-end laptops in the line boast a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a frequency of 240 Hz and DisplayHDR 400 certification, have a 12-core Intel Core i7 Raptor Lake engine (13th Gen) and up to 32 GB of RAM.
All models invariably have a good discrete graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series, which allows you to maintain consistently high FPS in current high-budget titles. There is also a 512 GB SSD M.2 solid-state drive, a 1080p webcam with a shutter, a capacious battery with fast charging, support for Power Delivery technology and maximum battery life of up to 9 hours (8.9 hours to be exact). Separately, it is worth highlighting the ability to connect up to 3 monitors, the presence of popular ports, including two USB C 3.2 gen2. The Gigabit LAN connector is complemented by a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) module, ready to operate at relatively free frequencies of 6 GHz.
