High-quality compact gaming keyboard with Romer-G Tactile branded mechanical switches, durable metal housing, two extra keys and customizable RGB LED backlighting. It is positioned as a product of the upper price category, aimed at hardcore gamers, as well as beginners and established cybersportsmen who take part in the highest level of away competitions and LAN finals. With exceptional durability, responsiveness, and precise tactile feedback, the Logitech G Pro Gaming Keyboard can be your go-to esports keyboard.
Romer-G Tactile mechanical switches are designed specifically for use in professional keyboards. Reduced distance to the actuation point (2 mm) allows commands to be executed 20% faster than standard mechanical switches. Due to the absence of a digital block, this model does not constrain the user during active work with the mouse, and a detachable cable provides convenient transportation of the device. The backlight system allows you to visually highlight important keys or clearly emphasize the player's belonging to a particular team. RGB LED lighting effects and animations can be customized using the Logitech HUB software. In addition, it allows you to save custom lighting schemes in the keyboard's built-in memory for later use in tournaments.

Romer-G Proprietary Mechanical Switches
The Swiss brand Logitech is doing its best to keep the reputation of the main manufacturer of computer peripherals in the world. About ten years ago, they even opened their own research institute, one of the most recent developments of which was Romer-G mechanical switches - a kind of answer to the popular Cherry MX with some improvements and increased wear resistance. In gaming, they are closest to the "average" Cherry MX Brown with a noticeable tactile response, average pressing force and individual backlighting of each key. Printing is also convenient, but do not expect any fantastic impressions. But the click sound is cool, deaf, weighty and expressive. Apparently closed case successfully blocks resonances and unpleasant overtones.
Unusual design
It looks minimalist, but stands out due to the dimensionlessness, finished with glossy ends and a top panel made of matte plastic. It is strange that despite the thickness of this panel, Logitech engineers did not use it in any way - the multimedia functions are at the mercy of the Fn key, and an aesthetically pleasing but useless void gapes at the top. An equally strange decision was to save on removable capecaps. Especially given the rather high price tag for this model.
Ergonomics at the level
But on the other fronts, order. The ergonomics are interesting. The surface of the keycaps here has a rather unusual shape of a recess in the form of a trapezoid. Moreover, the recesses of the buttons in the area of the left hand are slightly stronger, with the expectation that the fingers do not slip past during a fierce firefight. We also like how the G Pro sits on the table: two-tiered legs allow you to raise it by 4 and 8 degrees, respectively, and large rubber pads on the bottom provide maximum grip on the table. Overall, Logitech has made a great keyboard, but is it worth it? If you need exactly the TKL model exclusively with the same switches, then there are few options. If you are looking for just a good mechanical keyboard, then in this field it is full of much more interesting competitors.
