 | Outdated Product A compact micro-ATX motherboard, which belongs to the middle price segment and is designed to assemble fairly powerful gaming PCs with multiple video cards in Crossfire mode, a large memory array, liquid cooling and complex backlighting. It is based on the 2021 Intel B660 chipset with socket LGA 1700. The latter guarantees full compatibility with 4/6/8/12/16-core 12th generation Intel Core, Celeron and Pentium processors (Alder Lake) . MSI MAG B660M MORTAR is equipped with a high-quality hybrid 14-phase power subsystem (12 + 1 + 1 scheme) with additional cooling near the socket space, so it is not a problem for it to manually overclock components or work in a complex multi-threaded load. The peculiarity of the board lies in its sharpening for the new DDR5 RAM and Intel Alder Lake hybrid pr...ocessors, which use high-speed and energy-efficient cores. In the available 4 slots, you can install DDR5 strips with a maximum volume of 128 GB with a maximum frequency of 6200 MHz. Supports dual-channel operation and XMP technology to optimize memory overclocking. Another important element is the fourth generation PCIe bus, thanks to which the board can exchange information with other system components at reactive speed. The new generation NVMe SSDs especially benefit from this with linear read and write speeds in the region of 7000 MB / s. |
