The back side of the board is equipped with a backplate, which adds rigidity to the overall structure and helps in dissipating heat from the VRM zone. The power subsystem has a radiator with three separate sections, strung on two heat pipes.
The VRM has a 24+2+1+1 (VCORE+SA+GT+VNNAON) design. The processor group is composed of 24 Renesas R2209004 power elements, which are rated for 110 A, and are controlled by a Renesas RAA229131 PWM controller.
