Compact wide aperture for Micro 4/3 cameras — Panasonic and Olympus mirrorless cameras with 2x crop factor. Translated into the equivalent of a full frame, the focal length of the lens is 30 mm, which allows it to be used for shooting a wide variety of scenes. The model has a good maximum aperture of f/1.7. The minimum lens aperture is f/16. The controls on the Panasonic H-X015 15mm f/1.7 ASPH body are focus and aperture control rings, as well as an auto/manual focus switch AF/MF.

The optical scheme of the lens consists of 9 elements in 7 groups. Trio of internal lenses — aspherical (to eliminate chromatic aberrations). The nanocrystalline coating prevents ghosting, reflections and glare. The lens is offered in two colours — black and silver (to match the two camera colour options). The model weighs only 115 g. In addition, inexpensive filters with a thread diameter of 46 mm can be installed on its front lens.
