The representative of the fourth generation of Samsung smartwatches is a mid-budget solution in a 40 mm case with an LTE module available. The presence of the latter provides support for e-SIM (works in Western Europe and the USA), and together with the presence of a built-in speaker and microphone, it allows you to make voice calls without a mobile phone nearby. The model is equipped with a proprietary dual-core Exynos W920 processor with a clock frequency of 1180 MHz and 1.5 GB of RAM, and this “stuffing” runs on the Wear OS operating system.

The latter, among other things, supports contactless payments (both Samsung Pay and Google Wallet). The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 40mm LTE smart watch has a 1.2-inch touch screen with a Super AMOLED matrix, a resolution of 396 by 396 pixels and several operating modes, including Always on Display. The dial is protected by Gorilla Glass DX+. The body of the wrist accessory itself is made of aluminium, which combines strength, lightness and beauty.

The moisture protection class is declared at IP68, but the model cannot be used for diving and swimming in salt water. In addition to its GPS module and support for 97 sports modes, the device’s features include a large number of measurements, including heart rate, blood pressure, ECG, determination of saturation (oxygen saturation in the blood), tracking sleep and stress levels. We also note that there are 16 GB of internal memory for music and applications, and the battery life is stated at up to 2 days.
