An elegant stationary router (router) supporting Wi-Fi 4 wireless networks and a built-in 3G/4G(LTE) modem with a slot for installing a microSIM SIM card. It is positioned as a model of the middle price category, designed to serve the needs of a small suburban private house, remote office or other facilities that lack the possibility of cable connection. May be useful as an element of a fault-tolerant network infrastructure within a home/small office.
In the latter case, the TP-LINK TL-MR100 router normally works with a Fast Ethernet WAN connection to the provider's network (up to 100 Mbps), and in case of failure, it is transferred to the network of the selected mobile operator. Equipped with two external removable antennas serving the Wi-Fi network and receiving data transmission in cellular networks. Supported standards: 3G(HSPA/UMTS) and 4G(LTE) with data rates up to 150 Mbps. The Wi-Fi module operates in the 2.4 GHz band and, thanks to the support of 2x2 MIMO mode, provides a theoretical peak connection speed of up to 300 Mbps (the actual speed is usually 100-110 Mbps). Setting up the router is simple and can be done by the user himself.

Wireless access
The model provides wireless Internet access via Wi-Fi 4 protocol (802.11n). Its maximum bandwidth is 300 Mbps. In fact, in LTE networks from a router, you can squeeze the download rate of files up to 150 Mbps, and in fact even lower — 30-50 Mbps, depending on the mobile operator and the quality of signal reception. The "ceiling" of the speed mode when the device is connected via twisted pair cable through one of the two LAN connectors is 100 Mbps.
Intuitive setup
In one sitting, up to 32 client devices are connected to the router. The initial setup of the TP-LINK TL-MR100 takes just a couple of minutes, provided that the SIM card is active and has a positive account balance. It is enough to turn on the router, install a SIM card and quickly set up wireless access in the web interface. It implements the ability to create a guest network, monitor the activity of network clients, and set restrictions for children.
Automatic reserve
"Simka" on board the router can be used as a backup — in the event of a failure of the main wired connection, the Internet is automatically transferred to the network of the selected mobile operator. To improve the quality of signal reception, the model was equipped with two external detachable antennas.
