Stylish, relatively compact and high-performance AC1300 class dual-band wireless Wi-Fi adapter in a desktop unit form factor with two antennas and high-speed cable connection via USB 3.2 Gen1. It is a full-fledged client device with support for the Wi-Fi 5 wireless standard. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category, designed for use in personal computers, laptops and HTPC multimedia systems.
Unlike cheaper single-band adapters, it provides much higher user data transfer rates. It has a relatively small overall dimensions, equipped with two swivel (in two planes) dual-band antennas with a gain of 5 dBi. At moderate distances to a Wi-Fi router or access point, the TP-LINK T4U Plus USB adapter eliminates the need for cabling and can replace a wired Gigabit Ethernet network connection.
Supports MU-MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transmission technology, capable of creating connections with a theoretical bandwidth of up to 400 Mbps (2.4 GHz) or 867 Mbps (5 GHz). The practical data transfer rate is quite enough for comfortable surfing, watching 4K-quality streaming video, network gaming, fast downloading of large files and participating in video conferences.

I’m swearing close to one fate, there’s no complaining! If you want fast and stable 5 GHz Wi-Fi, then you can buy it! 1. Its speed. Here are some observations. Watching videos, movies, surfing the internet, chatting on Discord, etc., everything is fine. Downloading games from Steam, other launchers and playing online games – no complaints. However, when downloading something from Torrent, it is not always stable for some reason. It can jump up to 10-11 MB/s and then drop to 4. In Steam, the speed is consistently 10-11 MB/s. Not to be unfounded, I attach a screenshot in the description so you can see its average speed over 10 minutes of game downloading (with priority set to "normal" and with game launchers, Discord open in the background, and playing a video in 1080p on YouTube). I also attach a screenshot from Speedtest (plan 100 Mb/s, everything is stable). Overall, this is my only remark, but lately, I haven't been using Torrent, so it's not important for me. The speed satisfies me 100 percent. 2. Coverage range. I use it at a distance of about 6 meters from the router, and it receives the signal through 2 thick walls. I wrote about the speed in the first point (everything was tested at a distance of about 6 meters). There have been no disconnections. 3. Compact. The adapter was purchased along with the Tenda AC8 router to eliminate extra wires on the desktop PC. The package includes instructions and an excellent thick USB cable for good data transfer speed via the USB 3.2 interface. There was an issue with connecting in terms of not being able to create a 5 GHz access point. The 2.4 GHz was created without problems, and to create the 5 GHz, you need to select radio channel 36 in the settings, a nuance that I'm sure will be useful to someone. The signal holds steady, confidently receiving a connection from the router through a wall. The only downside is if you're getting this adapter for online gaming, be prepared that after a day of use (7-8 hours), it might start freezing (as if some sort of cache gets overloaded), and you need to restart it, which has become a habit for me; once an evening is enough, the reboot is very quick by the way - about 3 seconds, and you're back going, even without disconnecting. Overall, the adapter is good, if you're getting it purely for work, there are probably no cons at all. Not expensive. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac).
