The premium router TP-LINK Omada ER706W-4G is designed for deploying a professional and high-speed network of any level. The model hit the market in 2024 and can function within the Omada ecosystem with the capability for centralized cloud management. The main feature is its access variability to the internet with support for load balancing and channel redundancy. Among the sources are 5 gigabit WAN ports (4 can be reassigned to LAN), a separate SFP optical input, and a slot for a 4G standard SIM card.
The developed cable structure is complemented by a wireless standard Wi-Fi with a maximum speed of 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mbps for 5 GHz. Mobile traffic reception is handled by two removable antennas, while three more are intended for Wi-Fi. The software part allows professional configuration of different types of subnets, remote monitoring and traffic distribution among clients, and threat tracking. The company provides a mobile application.
