The older (Pro version) of the 8th generation Xiaomi fitness bracelet is a functional wearable gadget with the makings of a smart watch. So, compared to the usual variation - Mi Band 8 - this model is distinguished by a slightly larger display (1.74-inch diagonal) with an increased resolution of 480x336 pixels, an increase in battery capacity (it uses a 289 mAh battery versus 190 mAh), as well as the presence of a GPS module .
The latter provides even greater independence from the smartphone, and in addition supports topographic maps, and through the proprietary application there is access to an interactive route for a race or bike ride. The Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Pro fitness tracker, among other things, supports voice commands (branded assistant) and allows you to control the smart home eco-system. The display is notable for its bright picture (up to 600 nits), support for numerous dials, Always On Display mode and Gorilla Glass protection.
Sports fans can enjoy 150 fitness modes, including swimming. In addition, some workouts even feature 3D animation and personalized recommendations. Additional features of the model include a metal case and various variations of straps, including leather and Milanese weave. In standard mode of use, you will have to charge the device about once every two weeks, and with a constantly active screen - on average every 6 days.
