— a relatively rare option, in fact — one of the varieties of a rectangular shape (see the relevant paragraph), which has similar properties and features. However, one specific point should be noted separately: despite the fact that it is easier to fit one round speaker into a square case, most of these speakers are made two-way. An additional high-frequency radiator in such cases is installed either coaxially, above the centre of the main speaker, or diagonally relative to it, in the corner of the case. And some models have a rather unusual shape: the front part is made in the form of a recess, into one of the “slopes” of which the emitters are built; the opposite slope plays the role of a sound reflector.
