It makes sense to pay attention to speakers of this type primarily in two situations. The first one is if the "household" already has an amplifier or a device with the appropriate function (for example, an audio receiver): in such cases, you will not have to overpay for unnecessary additional equipment in the speakers themselves. The second situation is if you want to assemble a high-end audio system, choosing all its components at your discretion. Of course, the selection of the optimal amplifier can be associated with certain difficulties, but for lovers of high-quality sound, this is more than offset by the very possibility of choice.
