— writing tools formulated for non-porous surfaces: water-based (liquid chalk) create a matte, opaque line and wipe off easily with a damp cloth from glass/glazed ceramic; alcohol-based adhere more strongly and suit temporary marking on shop windows, tableware, and tile; permanent ceramic markers set after oven baking and become wash-resistant. Choose by task: for decor and writing on shop windows and mirrors, use water-based erasable markers; for labeling mugs and plates, use special ceramic markers with subsequent heat setting. Always test on an inconspicuous area, write on a clean, dry surface, and follow the removal/setting instructions to avoid leaving marks.
