— markers with fluorescent dyes that look ultra-bright in daylight and literally pop under a UV lamp, so they’re used for highlighting text, eye-catching notes, signs, shop windows, and club decor. Compared to regular pigment-based inks, the colors are noticeably richer, but lightfastness is lower: in the sun, neon fades faster, and on thin paper you may get bleed-through — it’s better to choose heavy sheets or marker paper. A good practice is to use neon for accent elements and quick navigation: expiration dates, price tags, checklists, posters, and decorative lettering where long-distance visibility is critical.
