— native HDMI output (or multiple outputs) on the back of the motherboard.HDMI is a combined digital video/audio interface specifically designed to handle HD resolutions and multi-channel audio. Today it is the most common of these interfaces, HDMI support is almost mandatory for video devices that are compatible with HD standards. Even the most modest of today's versions of this interface are capable of working with 4K video, and in newer standards, supported resolutions can reach 10K. So in motherboards, the quality of the video transmitted through such an output is often limited not by the interface capabilities, but by the graphics performance of the system.
As for the video outputs (including HDMI) located directly on the motherboard, such outputs are intended exclusively for outputting a signal from the integrated graphics card of the processor (or the built-in video chip of the motherboard itself — see "Functions and Capabilities"). You cannot use them with discrete video cards: modern computers do not provide the ability to broadcast a signal from such a card to the motherboard connector.
