ASRock's most affordable microATX motherboard based on the mid-range AMD B450 chipset with an AM4 processor socket. The manufacturer claims full compatibility with any 2/4/8-core AMD Ryzen/Ryzen Pro processors of the first and second generation, including models with integrated Radeon Vega graphics core and Athlon 200GE CPU. It has small overall dimensions and can be installed in compact microATX cases.
Equipped with a full-fledged six-phase processor power subsystem. The manufacturer is positioned as a model of the initial price category, designed to assemble inexpensive home or office systems. Despite this positioning and a very affordable price, the ASRock B450M-HDV motherboard is well-equipped and has a number of advanced system and peripheral interfaces. Two DIMM slots support DDR4-2933/2666/2400/2133 memory modules with a total capacity of up to 32 GB.
The storage subsystem can include a high-performance NVMe SSD with an M.2 interface (up to 32 Gbps) and up to 4 conventional SATA3 SSD / HDD drives. There is a built-in gigabit network controller Realtek RTL8111H, the 7.1-channel HDA codec Realtek ALC887 is responsible for processing and outputting sound. VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI 1.4 ports enable use of the processor's built-in Radeon Vega graphics core (Ryzen APUs with Raven Ridge core only). There are 12 USB ports, including 6 high-performance USB 3.1 Gen1.

A good motherboard for its price (bought it before the dollar rise) I've been using the ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 for about 6 months. Good quality for your money. 4-pin power, meaning it can work with old power supplies (I initially used it with a 9-year-old PSU while saving for a new Be Quiet power unit). The B450 chipset is great for CPU overclocking. Not particularly new, but promising socket AM4. 2 slots for RAM is not really a disadvantage, especially for such a price, but still, one should not forget about this (if anything, there is a PRO version with 4 RAM slots). Perhaps, for someone the lack of RGB lighting will be a drawback, but for this price, you're asking for too much. Therefore, it can be said that there are no downsides. for that price of 900 UAH, this is a very good motherboard, what can I say a simple motherboard on an am4 socket, it pulls ryzen 5 1600hda and I think ryzen 5 2600 will pull price 2 RAM slots (but for this price it's not a problem) |

The chipset allows it, but there was no need to overclock the CPU yet, and it is unlikely to be needed.
The model itself is already old and budget-friendly, so there's no ARGB connector and integrated Wi-Fi module here, which is logical.
For home PC needs of the office/school class without a discrete graphics card, it is more than sufficient.
I still don't understand what the separate small bolt in the zip bag in the kit is for.
