For underwater photography

— cameras designed for underwater photography. By design, they are digital compacts (see "Type of camera"), made in sealed cases with a high degree of protection. However note that the maximum immersion depth in different models can be different, it should be specified separately; however, anyway, such a device will allow you to successfully shoot at a depth of several metres at least. Of course, in terms of image quality, it will be inferior to a SLR or mirrorless camera in a special box — on the other hand, "underwater" compacts are much cheaper, and their small size can be an important advantage.
