In 2017, in addition to the new Surface series tablets, Microsoft rolled out a completely new line of economical wireless Surface Mouse manipulators. This series has replaced the Microsoft Designer Mouse family and has much in common with it: Surface models are mostly equipped with flagship BlueTrack sensors, boast a modern design, and exclusively high-quality materials are used in their manufacture.

Also, many mice in this series tend to have a low-profile design, when the manipulator body is intentionally made low, flat and low. According to the logic of the manufacturer, such a form reduces the load on the brushes and simplifies transportation. Unlike the traditional "hunchbacked" mouse, the Surface easily hides in the side pocket of a case or bag, without disturbing the user's mobility in any way. And with it, a conditional Surface Go tablet can be instantly turned into a full-fledged laptop.

If you don't like the flat design in the Apple Mouse style, there are more traditional options in the Microsoft Surface range. For example, the Surface Precision model has a classic curved shape, is equipped with conventional mechanical keys and a high-precision scroll wheel. Compared to other office mice, it stands out due to additional side buttons, a DPI switch, a replaceable cable and a small landing pad for a more comfortable grip.
