At the turn of the decade, the Chinese brand Deepcool seriously updated its range of cooling systems, dividing all products into 3 categories: standard tower coolers, advanced liquid cooling systems and individual fans. The latter can be used for additional cooling of hardware by mounting them directly into the case, or used to upgrade or replace a broken fan in a tower cooler or LSS from Deepcool. This article will talk about advanced ARGB fans of the Deepcool CF family, created for owners of backlit cases.

The CF series assortment includes only standard options with a diameter of 120 mm; we have not seen smaller or, on the contrary, enlarged turntables for non-standard cases, life support systems and tower coolers. Most options are broken down into sets of two or three fans. All of them support PWM rotation speed control, the range is usually from 500 to 1500 rpm. A relatively quiet and durable hydrodynamic bearing is usually used as the basis. The maximum declared noise level reaches 29-30 dB with an air flow of 52 CFM.

Some advanced models of the Deepcool CF 120 3pcs level are equipped with three fans at once, which, according to the manufacturer, allows for increased airflow efficiency while reducing noise levels. Otherwise, there are minimal differences between the models. The key feature is the same in all cases - it is a modern ARGB backlight, the control system of which is fully compatible with Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and other popular applications for customizing illumination.
