Water cooling has always been expensive and considered fun for enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their CPU. Then Chinese and Taiwanese manufacturers a la Deepcool entered the game, who tried to change the rules of the game, giving access to dropsy to all those who suffer. One of the first "folk" LSS of the Gammaxx model, in which affordability was combined with high quality workmanship and a serious level of heat dissipation. In order to save money, Deepcool abandoned the expensive Aestek water blocks, and instead of a full-fledged RGB system, it was decided to limit itself to a solid red or blue LED backlight.

The Gammaxx series includes pre-assembled and ready-to-use coolant systems in a classic format, in which a water block with a pump and a radiator with fans are connected to each other using a pair of strong hoses to circulate the coolant. The resulting design covers both the processor and the socket space, on the one hand, providing a more comprehensive cooling of all system components.

Most often, the Gammaxx design uses single, double and triple turntables with a diameter of 120 mm, built on the basis of a traditional hydrodynamic bearing. They support PWM speed control (rotation range from 500 to 1800 rpm), do not make too much noise in the process, and are not inferior in efficiency to classic tower-type CBOs. In practice, a typical Gammaxx system effectively handles overclocking of modern 6-core Ryzen 7 / Core i7 caliber processors, while remaining quite cold and quiet.
