Despite the status of a manufacturer of low-cost cooling systems, Deepcool has been increasingly producing A-class products in recent years, ready to compete with market leaders. Their line of liquid cooling systems has grown especially. At the beginning, the brand had only simple dropsy GAMMAXX, then the medium-class Deepcool Castle LSS went on sale. Well, in 2022, the Chinese presented an elite line of dropsy LSS Deepcool LS, which, judging by the first impressions, is ready to face off against NZXT Kraken, Asus ROG and MSI MEG.
At the start of the Deepcool LS lineup, two LSS models were presented with three standard radiator sizes (120, 240 and 360 mm), which differ in color scheme: the regular LS is made in black, and the LS WH is completely painted white. Both models are based on the fourth generation DeepCool water pump, which relies on a 3-phase motor running at 3100 rpm.
For additional cooling of the radiator, branded DeepCool FC120 fans with rotation speeds from 500 to 2250 rpm are used. CPU socket support varies by model. In particular, the smaller single fan versions are compatible with all current Intel and AMD consumer platforms, including AM5 and LGA 1700. The older dual and triple fan models can also be stacked on top of AMD sTRX4/sTR4 socket HEDT-class motherboards.
In order to keep up with the trends and attract modders and owners of designer cases to their side, Deepcool engineers equipped the LS LSS with a complex addressable lighting with support for all popular lighting synchronization systems (Asus Aura RGB, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome and razer Chroma) . Fan blades are decorated with LEDs, and several backlight circuits are located on the cover of the water block with the effect of an endless mirror.
