The most modest of these devices have an IPX5 protection level (protected against water jets from any direction, no dust certification has been carried out). In the most advanced cases, this figure can reach IP68 (complete dust protection plus the ability to work immersed under water for at least 30 minutes at a depth of 1 m). More detailed interpretations of different IP values can be found in special sources, but anyway, this feature increases the reliability of the gadget and its resistance to adverse conditions.
