Three-phase air conditioners

Three-phase (400 V)

— power supply from a three-phase mains with a 400 V voltage is an unmistakable sign of a powerful performant air conditioner — most often with a ducted, cassette or floor-ceiling installation (see "Installation").

400 V mains are less common than 230 V, but they have two important advantages. Firstly, a three-phase connection is better able to withstand high loads; secondly, it allows more accurate accounting of consumed electricity. So if you are looking for a sufficiently powerful air conditioner (for 4 kW of thermal power and higher), and at the installation site it is possible to connect 400 V, it makes sense to pay attention to this option.
