Outdoor units of split systems

This configuration option is popular in multi-splits (see "Type") — it is believed that it is most convenient to assemble such a system separately by purchasing an external unit and supplementing it with the required number of internal ones. However, such equipment can also be useful for a conventional split system — for example, if the original outdoor unit is out of order, but the internal one remains operational.
